Some photos I took today

So today when I was walking into the door of my office, I saw this little guy, sitting in the crevice between the window and the wall:

 It was only about 5 feet off the ground and wasn't well hidden at all, I was quite surprised.

I looked it up online and I'm reasonably certain it is a "little brown bat" (yes, that is its actual common name) (Myotis lucifugus)

Honestly, when I first caught it out of the corner of my eye, i was thinking "Why is there a hairy turd stuck to the wall?" then I noticed it had ears.

So there you have it! A surprise finding today, a little urban bat.
